Part A: Set Field Setting Value (FSV) 2091 and 2092 to “0-Not use”

On the home screen, press the arrow up and arrow down at the same time to enter service mode

Enter the password. The default password is 0202

Select “Field Setting Value”

Select “20** | Water Law" section

Select “2091 | External thermostat application”

Set to “Not Use”

Now repeat the above steps for FSV 2092 using the images as a guiding reference.

Part B: Allow the Samsung heat pump to operate in a fixed flow temperature mode

  1. From the installer menu, select “Indoor Unit Options”. Note, there is a similar menu item called “Indoor Unit Option”. Please Ensure you select the correct one! If you can only see 1 option, please select that.

  2. Select “Standard temperature”

  3. Set to “water outlet”

Part C: Set the Samsung heat pump to operate in a fixed flow temperature mode

Make sure that the heating is enabled on the home screen. If it says “OFF”, press the On / power button

Press the OK button to enter the heating menu

Once you are in the heating menu, ensure the fields at the bottom of the screen say “Heat” (on the bottom left) and “Water outlet” (on the bottom right)

If they don’t say this, press the OK button and select “Heat”

Navigate to the right, press the OK button and select “Water Outlet”

Use the up and down arrows to set a flow temperature of 37°C. Don’t worry, that is not the room temperature and our algorithms will overwrite this.

Part D: Remove heating and hot water schedules

Please remove any schedules you have for heating and hot water on the Samsung controller and Samsung SmartThings app. To do this on the controller, follow these steps:

  1. Click the cog on the controller

  2. Select Schedules

  3. Remove all schedules
