Please note down your original settings before changing them. Havenwise cannot read or write these specific settings remotely, so you would need to change these back if you decide to disconnect us

What does the Vaillant controller look like?

Most people will have a sensoComfort (VRC720):

A few will have the older VRC700. Note the menus in this guide might be different for you:

Vaillant Wired VRC 700 0020236291

1) Set the Outdoor Temperature threshold

Menu→ Settings→Installer level→Enter code 00→installation configuration→Circuit 1→ OT Switch off threshold

Set to 25C

Why do I need to do this?

This is the outdoor temperature above which the heating will never turn on.

We would recommend setting it to 25C to ensure this does not interfere with Havenwise logic.

2) Set zone modes to "active"

Menu-> Settings->Installer level->Enter code 00 (unchanged)->Installation configuration->Circuit->Roomtemp.mod

Set to "active"

3) Set DHW hysteresis

Open the sensoCOMFORT menu → Settings → Installer level → Enter code, usually unchanged 00 → Installation configuration → DHW.

Set to 4C

Why do I need to do this?

When this value is set too high, it can prevent Havenwise from heating your hot water at the cheapest time.

Setting this value to 4C prevents it from interfering with Havenwise. We use our own hysteresis and other logic internally.
