Havenwise needs an accurate room temperature reading to work effectively. This is needed to ensure comfort, while reducing your running costs. A Shelly temperature sensor is needed if:
Your heat pump controller or thermostat is not picking up a representative temperature for the house. This is often because the heat pump controller / thermostat is hidden in a cupboard, plant room, garage, etc.
You have a Samsung heat pump. At the moment, Samsung heat pumps do not provide an accurate room temperature reading via the internet.
What model of Shelly temperature sensor do I need?
You need a Shelly H&T Gen 3 temperature sensor, a low cost but reliable temperature sensor.
The sensor can be USB-C powered (recommended) or battery powered, and it connects to your WiFi.
