Heating and hot water modes: Schedule, Manual, and Off

Each of your heating and hot water controls has three modes. You can switch between them independently from the heating and hot water cards in the app.

This is the default mode. Havenwise follows your temperature timetable and finds the cheapest way to hit your set points at the right times, taking your tariff into account automatically.

Manual holds one temperature until you change it. There is no timetable and no tariff optimisation — the system simply maintains the temperature you set.

This is useful for periods when you want consistent heat without a schedule.

Off stops heating or hot water cycles completely. For heating, this means no active temperature control. For hot water, no cycles will run.

The Schedules panel is only shown when a heating or hot water control is in Schedule mode. If you switch both to Manual or Off, the Schedules panel will be hidden until you return to Schedule mode.
