Here you'll find daily cost estimates for your heat pump, alongside weekly COP (efficiency) figures and energy usage breakdowns for heating and hot water.
How and when does the Performance stats page update?
The page updates once a day at about 1700 UTC (1700 GMT/1800 BST).
How is the effective tariff calculated?
Havenwise estimates your effective tariff based on when and how hard your heat pump has been running, and how much it cost to run at that time (i.e., your particular tariff).
Note that the first day of data will be incorrect, because this is a partial day of data. Subsequent days should be fine.
Note: If you have a Samsung heat pump, COP data won't appear in the app because Samsung currently doesn't report COP data remotely. You can find COP information on your heat pump controller instead.
I have solar and a battery, how does Havenwise work out my costs?
If you have solar PV and / or a battery, your cost estimates in the Havenwise app will not take into account your solar PV and battery. While we know how much electricity your heat pump uses, we don't know where this electricity comes from. As a practice, we assume that all electricity is supplied by the grid at the time it is used. If you have cheaper electricity from your solar or battery, your costs will therefore be overestimated and your actual costs will be lower.
