Havenwise can work with your thermostats and smart TRVs. To do so effectively, we recommend the following:
Remove any schedules from your thermostats.
Set their temperature 1–2°C above your actual comfort level.
This allows the thermostats to act as “temperature limiters,” keeping zones mostly open while avoiding interference with Havenwise’s optimisation. It won’t mean your home will be 1–2°C above your actual comfort level, because Havenwise will manage the heat pump to meet the target you’ve set in the app. For bedrooms, or rooms that tend to overheat a lot, you can keep the target on the thermostats closer to the temperature you want.
