You may need a Shelly temperature sensor so Havenwise can accurately read your room temperature. This is essential for ensuring your heating system runs efficiently and keeps your home comfortable.
A Shelly sensor is required if:
Your heat pump controller or thermostat is in a location that doesn’t reflect your actual living temperature (for example, in a cupboard, plant room, or garage).
You have a Samsung heat pump, as these do not provide an accurate room temperature reading via the internet.
Without a Shelly sensor, Havenwise can’t optimise your heating accurately or help reduce running costs.
For Mitsubishi and Vaillant, if possible, we recommend moving your controller to a more suitable location where it can measure a representative indoor temperature.
